HUMMER

The late, lamented Hummer, in their brief time together, became renowned for having perhaps the best unreleased album in Canadian music history. Circulated extensively amongst friends and media, Hummer bootlegs made it onto many people's "Best of 1996" lists; their infrequent (and extremely loud) live shows only added to their mystique. Grudgingly giving in to demand, the band finally produced a limited run of CD's, only to break up a few weeks later.
